RIQŌL IT legal

Privacy Policy

Last updated May 4, 2026

RIQŌL IT is built to help you keep a structured record of interactions and patterns. This policy explains what the app stores, what stays on your device, and what only leaves your device when you choose to share it.

What RIQŌL IT stores

RIQŌL IT may store the people you add, relationship labels, interaction entries, notes, timestamps, pattern history, privacy settings, Safety Send settings, trusted contacts, and subscription status needed to run the app.

Privacy lock settings are stored locally on the device. The app uses that information so it can lock and unlock locally on the device you are using.

What stays on your device by default

RIQŌL IT is designed to work as a local-first app. Your entries, people, notes, settings, and trusted contacts stay on your device unless you use a feature that intentionally shares or backs up information.

Local app data is stored using on-device storage provided by your phone and app runtime.

When data may leave your device

Export shares a text or PDF record only when you choose to create and share one.

Safety Send shares prepared records only when you enable it and trigger a send or test. If no backend dispatch endpoint is configured, Safety Send uses the device share sheet and keeps pending retries local to the device.

Backend Sync is optional. If it is configured and you trigger a sync, RIQŌL IT sends a redacted backup snapshot to the configured backend. That backup is designed to avoid raw note text and instead includes structured, reduced metadata such as aliases, labels, counts, and settings needed for backup-style recovery.

Payments

If subscriptions or purchases are enabled, purchase processing is handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, which the app uses to verify access status. RIQŌL IT does not ask you to type payment card details directly into the app.

How the app uses your information

RIQŌL IT uses your stored information to help you review patterns, prepare exports, run Safety Send, show profile timelines, and apply your privacy and display preferences.

Language review and pattern features are intended to support reflection and recordkeeping inside the app experience. They are not a substitute for legal, medical, mental health, or emergency support.

Your choices

You can export your records, remove trusted contacts, turn Safety Send on or off, disable privacy lock, and delete local data from Settings.

If you choose to use Backend Sync or sharing features, you control when those actions happen from inside the app.

Service updates

RIQŌL IT may update features, policies, infrastructure, and support channels over time. Material legal or privacy changes will be reflected in updated in-app and hosted policy copies.
